大阪ミナミ、道頓堀の繁華街の派手な看板群に囲まれてひっそりと佇む、柳が粋な門構えの昭和21年開店の老舗うどん屋さん。

きつねうどんは、道頓堀今井の看板メニュー。 ふっくらと炊き上げた程よい甘さのお揚げと、北海道道産の天然真昆布、九州産のサバ節・ウルメ節を使ったコクと旨味の出汁、そしてモチモチのうどんが三位一体の美味しさを醸し出す。
鍋焼うどんは、中川一辺陶の土鍋に、鴨肉、焼き穴子、椎茸旨煮、粟麩に蒲鉾と具沢山で、それぞれの味が出汁に溶け、うどんに絡む。鍋焼で煮込まれているのに、うどんはモチモチの中にしっかりコシが残り、心地よい食感。急に寒くなったこの時期にピッタリで、体も心も芯から温まった。
