10月中旬の土曜日ランチ。
妻と大阪府大阪市中央区の『551蓬莱 戎橋本店』を訪問する。
『倉敷アイビースクエア』をチェックアウトして三備一之宮の吉備津神社と備前国一之宮の吉備津彦神社を参拝して御朱印を授かる。
当初はこの辺りでランチにする予定だったが、参拝後の時間は午前10時30分。
朝食のブュッフェで食べ過ぎたことや、最近、マイレビ様のレビューを拝見してどうしても『551蓬莱』の豚まんを食べたくなったことなどから大阪まで戻り『551蓬莱』でランチにする。
午後１時30分くらいに到着。
20人以上の行列である。
意外と回転が早く20分ほどで席に案内される。
私は551麺（¥920）と豚まん（¥290）、妻は551担仔麺ハーフサイズ（¥550）と豚まんを注文する。
10分ほどで豚まんが提供される。
ガブリと一口。
美味い！
餡が濃厚で肉の旨みが半端ない。
餡の甘みも完璧なバランス。
これは人気なのも納得。
551麺は本場のラーメンに近い。
八角のスパイスの効いた挽肉、チャーシュー、海老、青梗菜などがのった台湾風のあっさりしたラーメンである。
八角が効いており爽やかなラーメンと、旨みの強い豚まんの相性は抜群である。
噂に聞いた『551蓬莱』の豚まん。
想像を遥かに超える美味さである。
また必ず再訪したい。
大満足して店を後にする。
近江国一之宮である建部大社を目指して出発する。
