PR for restaurants |
Established in 1965, the flavor of this long-established restaurant in Namba, Osaka has been passed down through four generations.
Plenty of cabbage, less flour. Only a skilled chef can cook fluffy Okonomiyaki with a strong Naniwa flavor and dashi stock. Enjoy the authentic taste loved in Osaka, the city of gluttony. |
I arrived at the restaurant around 4:30pm on a Sunday. I thought it would be relatively quiet, but there was a huge line that stretched all the way down to the bottom of the stairs in front of the restaurant... As I was surprised, "Seriously...", more and more people joined the huge line. I couldn't lose here! I decided to join the huge line and lined up at the end of the line. While I was waiting in line, a staff member brought me a menu. After about 40 minutes, I made my way to the entrance of the restaurant, where a staff member collected the menu and took my order. There were about four groups of people waiting in front of me, but since I was alone, I was able to enter first. When I was shown to the counter, delicious Okonomiyaki was being cooked right in front of me. Since I had ordered outside, I only had to wait for it to be cooked after I sat down!! Okonomiyaki was ready in about 10 minutes!! I immediately took a bite of the hot Okonomiyaki. It was fluffy and creamy, Okonomiyaki I've ever eaten. I wasn't very hungry, so I was worried I wouldn't be able to finish it, but I ate it all without stopping. It was a famous restaurant, as expected!! There are no signboards or anything like that here, you just have to wait in line. I recommend you try it at least once. It's worth the wait.
