「つまるところ、[腹が減っては何とやら]といったやつだな」。そう実感したのがこの度頂いた[ギガ]なバーガーです。
この日、久々に『マクドナルド』を訪れたところ、【今年はみんなでBIG SMILE】ということで、通常よりお得な“ビッグマック”のセットと共に、期間限定の商品が登場しておりました。その商品とは、“グランドビッグマック”及び“ギガビッグマック”です。
“グランドビッグマック”は、100%ビーフパティが焼成前重量比で“ビックマック”の1.3倍超の商品、そして“ギガビッグマック”は、“グランドビッグマック”と同サイズのパティを“グランドビッグマック”の倍の計4枚使用した日本オリジナル商品です。
これらのバーガーは2016年に初登場して以来毎年登場しておりましたが、個人的にはこれまで「ただボリューム感があるだけでしょ」といったイメージしかなく注文したことがありませんでした。ですが、新型コロナの流行によるストレスの反動からか、[腹が減っては何とやら]という考えでいろんな店でボリューム感のあるメニューをよく注文する今日この頃、今回もその勢いのまま“ギガビッグマック”をセットで注文しました。
日本のチェーン店のバーガーは本場アメリカのと比べればサイズが小さめと聞いたことがありますが、“ギガビッグマック”は計算上ではパティは通常の(＊日本の)“ビッグマック”の2.6倍超であり、充分な食べ応えがありました。気軽に頂けるボリューム感のある品をお求めの方にはぴったりなバーガーであるのは確かである、そう感じました。
「2021年の幕開けは多くの人にビッグスマイルを届けたい」という思いが込められたという今回のキャンペーン、皆さんもよろしければ参考にしてみて下さい。
