While on a business trip to Osaka, I decided to enjoy dinner in Namba with a friend from Osaka. This restaurant was on my friend's radar on the internet. He really wanted to go, and I wasn't in the mood for Teppan-yaki, but he was so mad that I went with him (lol). It's in an alley in the shopping district, close to the station. There's a big Asian sign, so it's not hard to find. The restaurant is in the basement, and when you enter, you're greeted by a big aquarium. It looks like it's shining with rainbow colors, which is impressive. Next, the waiter greets you. The waiter is the usual kind of waiter, but it's not stuffy at all. The restaurant has a Balinese or resort-like atmosphere. There's a big projector, so it's a nice space. The restaurant isn't that big, so reservations are a must on the weekends. The menu includes Teppan-yaki and grill dishes, as well as a wide variety of hotpots, snacks, and desserts, and it feels like a combination of Teppan-yaki and grill dining and an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). So, contrary to the expensive image of ordinary Teppan-yaki it is very reasonable★ Jerk chicken goes perfectly with beer♪ My friend was fascinated by the handsome staff member making the drinks (lol) Although it is a Teppan-yaki dining, we had hot pot, which was delicious! I wanted to eat hot pot, so I asked Teppan-yaki for a recommended hot pot. Staff ⇒⇒ We can prepare a recommended hot pot that is not on the menu that is popular among young people in Korea, "Budae Jjigae Hot Pot". It is similar to Japanese Jjigae Hot Pot. This is the only thing different from Japan! I thought that they put instant Ramen in the pot. And what's more! They put it in and eat it while eating the hot pot! In other words, they eat it as an ingredient, not as a final dish of the hot pot! This was also delicious! It seems easy to make at home♪ All in all, the drinks and food were better than I expected. Whenever I went to Osaka, I always went around eating flour-based foods, but it's not bad to eat teppanyaki dishes other than Okonomiyaki in Osaka! I'm sorry I don't have any photos of the food...I'm regretting it. It seemed like it was a new opening so the staff were a little hectic, but it was nice to see them working so hard. Keep it up!
