長堀橋駅近くの堺筋沿いにあるＢＡＲ桃陰で働いておられた方が独立開業されたお店です。
桃陰時代に、宗右衛門町の廃墟みたいなモータープールの西側にあるビルでやるってことは聞いてたので、一度行ってみたのですが、ま～ったくどこなのかわからないのです。
あっ！廃墟みたいなモータープールってのは、ドンキの向かいにある宗右衛門町モータープールのことです。
おもいっきりピンポイントな場所なのにわからないし、連絡先も聞いてなかったので、桃陰へ行ってお店のチラシをもらってきました。
それによると一龍ビルの２階であることがわかったのですが、この一龍ビルってのが夜だと非常にわかりにくい。
また外に置き看板がなく、ビルの付き出し看板にもお店の表示がないので、これじゃあわからないはずですよ。
階段を上がり、２階の突き当りにお店がありました。
扉を開けて中に入ると、カウンターＭＡＸ１０席の小さなＢＡＲでした。
普段はマスター１人で営業されてますが、金曜と土曜は若いバーテンさんがお手伝いで入っているようです。
「スモーキーバル」という店名ですので、燻製料理をウリにしているＢＡＲです。
ただオープン当初、お店で燻製したら近隣から少しクレームが来たそうなので、まだそんなに燻製料理が充実してるってわけではありません。
まあおいおいメニューは増えていくものと思われますが。
付き出しはハモン・セラーノが出てきました。
塩味が効いてて美味しい生ハムですよね。
生ビールはハートランド、黒はギネスを置いてます。
私はＢＡＲでガッツリ食事をすることはほとんどないのですが、マスターは料理が得意なので、パスタをいただいてみることに。
パスタは、オイル、トマト、クリームどれでも対応出来ます。
メインの具は海老かベーコンから選べるので、私は海老をオイルでオーダー。
コチラのパスタは、海老の他にしめじやいんげんがた～っぷり入ります。
アクセントでトマトもちょっと入ってますね。
生のフェットチーネを野菜とバジルのペーストを使って味付けしており、さっぱりしてますから夜食べるにはいいんじゃないでしょうか。
ただ個人的にはもっとニンニクを効かせた方がパンチが効いて美味しいんじゃないかと思いました。
でもこれで千円ですから、ＢＡＲのフードとしては絶対安いですよ。
スモークチーズやビーフジャーキーも自家製です。
特にビーフジャーキーはよくあるスルメみたいにかたいやつじゃなくて、すごく柔らかくて美味しいですよ。
カジュアルな雰囲気だし、マスターはすごく気さくな人なので、初めて行っても話しやすいと思います。
ワインの知識も豊富で、結構こだわってるみたいでした。
今はまだ知ってる人しか来てませんが、これから口コミでお客さんも増えていくと思いますね。
やらなきゃいけないことはまだまだあるけど、マスター頑張ってください！！
