Meat Bar located west of namBa HIPS. I went in without any prior information. It seems they only recently started serving weekday lunches. Maybe it's because of the COVID-19 pandemic. I sat at the counter seat near the entrance. The interior of the restaurant doesn't give the impression of Yakiniku (Grilled meat). I don't like spicy food, so I ordered a kalbi bowl with a poached egg. You can also get extra rice. (The photo shows a regular portion.) Seven thick slices of kalbi coated in sauce are topped with Korean seaweed. The kalbi isn't hard, but it's quite chewy. It's a bit disappointing. I wish there was one or two more slices. The yolk of the poached egg was cracked from the start. The consommé soup in the cup was a bit strong. The pickles were kakuteki, eggplant, and bean sprouts. It was delicious. They seem to have a wide variety of alcohol, so I'd like to visit again at night. Just as I was finishing my meal, it suddenly started raining heavily. It's only 20 meters to Ebisubashibashisuji Shopping Street, so I made a dash!
