Osaka night. After watching the Hanshin Tigers play Japan's No. 1 at Kyocera Dome Osaka, I headed to Namba, where I was planning to stay. Take in the hustle and bustle of the Dotonbori area and enjoy a final drink. Since it was around 23:00 on a Sunday night, there were not many shops open. Meanwhile, I discovered this shop. It is located a little down an alley from the Sennichimae shopping street. I thought it was Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) when I saw the red lanterns, but it turned out to be Yakiniku (Grilled meat). I decided to give it a try since it's a popular Yakiniku (Grilled meat) that is common in Osaka. Since it was late, there were no other customers. The inside of the store is not very large, and there are counter seats and table seats. The two of us were seated at a table in the back. First, let's toast with draft beer. First of all, I ordered Salted beef tongue (medium), skirt steak, minced meat, and bean sprouts namul. When you order meat, the chef will set the seven wheels on your table. It looks like you can have it grilled over charcoal. The first thing that came out was the soft boiled beef tongue. The phlegm cooked in an elegant soup stock is soft. The seasoning is elegant, but it seems that sesame oil is added to it. It's surprisingly well-balanced and makes for a good drink. Salt tongue is thinly sliced. But it's surprisingly chewy. The saltiness really works. It comes with a cut lemon and you squeeze it yourself. It's quite salty, so adding lemon gives it a nice flavor. The skirt steak is quite thickly sliced. It has just the right amount of texture. It is seasoned with a rich sauce and there is no dipping sauce, so you can eat it as is when it is cooked. The spicy sauce goes well with the meat. The sauce on top is also rich, but it brings out the flavor of the mino and is delicious. The owner was running the store by himself. Although he wasn't very friendly, he did his job in a polite manner. It was a restaurant where you could enjoy Yakiniku (Grilled meat) at a reasonable price. It seems like it's okay to Yakiniku (Grilled meat) by yourself, so I think it's a good restaurant to keep in mind.
