2023年9月に立ち寄りました。時刻は18:00ゆえ夜のせんべろ呑み。天王寺駅ちかくで用事をすませたあと、食事か呑みかと思って天王寺駅かいわいを散策したところ、なにやら怪しげな横丁を発見。うむむ、昭和の香りが強く漂う。このときはこの横丁が阪和商店街という名だとは知りませんでした。
横丁ずきの私は誘蛾灯に誘われた昆虫のように阪和商店街に引き寄せられました。ちょっとだけ入ったところで一撃必殺ルックスの「種よし」と出会ってしまい、今日はここに決まりだな、と腹をくくりました。店舗の外にびっしりと奇抜な(?)メニューが貼ってありました。サメ唐揚、ふじつぼ、熊串焼、ワニ串カツ… マジか。
入店すると外国人の店員さんが案内してくれました。とういうか、案内できるほどのスペースがありません。店内は狭い。こちらへお座りくださいと席を指定されました。私が注文したのは以下のとおりです； ①日本酒一合300円 ②コロッケ130円 ③冷奴180円。これら3品で税込690円でした。やっすい。あれ？ 勘定が合わないけどまあいいや。
美味しいかどうかは置いとき、昭和な雰囲気を楽しめます。私は注文しなかったけれど奇抜なメニュー(例：サメ唐揚)もあります。この雰囲気が好きな人は一定数いると思います。
種よしがある阪和商店街には、ほかにも、個性的な呑み屋がたくさんあります。ぜひ散歩してみてください。私は1軒目はここ、2軒目は阪和商店街を離れて5分ぐらい歩いたところにあるMARUFUJI CAFE(食べログでレビュー済)へ行きました。
私の席の近くには、電源は、見当たりませんでした。
