Leaving Ginji-san... If you come to Shinsekai, you have to go for kushikatsu, right? There was no line at the main Daruma store... I don't really like Daruma-san. I headed to Janjan Yokocho, but the popular stores had long lines. Anyway, I went to Tsutenkaku store. There were customers ahead of me, a big party in the tatami room, two foreign women. It was Sunday though... Well, as long as I can drink alcohol, it's no problem ✌︎('ω')✌︎ I ordered... ◼️Highball ◼️Kushikatsu Beef Pork Lotus root Onion A highball and cabbage arrived. This store does not allow double dipping, and instead of dobon, they pour Worcestershire sauce on it, and put it on the plate. Regardless of the coronavirus pandemic, the number of dobon stores is increasing. I guess it's because of rising ingredient costs and staff management. Cabbage... soggy W(`0`)W I didn't want to leave anything, so I ate it all. Then the kushikatsu arrived. It took a little over 10 minutes after I ordered. Does it take that long? Nobody had ordered it. As expected, the beef and pork were crispy and not juicy at all. The lotus root and onions were just about right. The staff spoke Japanese, but what language did they speak to each other? I'm not good with languages, so I don't know, but Japan is not the New World \(//∇//)\ Are they okay with foreign workers having long hours like D◯ma-san?
