新年最初の訪問。元旦でもさすがに新大阪駅は営業している店が多いです。やはり関西らしくてさらにお正月らしい料理が食べたいなと午前11時過ぎ頃に駅の中を散策し、行列もほどほどの、うどんすきで有名なこの大阪の老舗和食店に決定。カウンター席ならすぐに入れました。
サイドメニューはあまりないですが、写真のような組合せで注文。接客はとても丁寧です。元旦から働いてくれる人がいるからこそ、お店も営業でき、客もレストラン難民にならずに済む。ありがたいことです。
ほどなく全品配膳。見た目もとても上品です。あくまで庶民的なお値段でお好み焼きや串カツなどとはまた違った大阪の粋が感じられます。
早速実食。うどんの出汁も程良い塩梅で上品です。「かやく」うどんを名乗っているのでどれだけ具が詰まっているだろうとチェックすると、「法蓮草、人参、椎茸、穴子、里芋、蒲鉾、湯葉、鶏肉、餅」の9種。十分に「かやく」が名乗れます。特にお餅は元旦には気分的にありがたいです。なにわ寿司も食べ応え抜群。湯葉のお刺身も久しぶりでしたが、とても満足できました。
もちろん駅ナカなのでキャッシュレス対応も万全。新年早々非常に満足度の高い食事となりました。
