新大阪駅にある「うどんすき店」です。
堺で200余年続いた料亭「耳卯楼」に由来する「美々卯」の新大阪店。
JR新大阪駅直結という便利な立地で看板料理「うどんすき」の他、だししゃぶ・各種うどん・そばなどを提供。
昼の気軽な食事から夜の宴会まで、使い勝手の良い店です。
本店は淀屋橋駅近く平野町にあり、関西・中部に18軒展開。
（以前は東京 京橋に暖簾分けした「東京美々卯」がありましたが、2020年に閉店しています。
私の過去の訪問履歴は京橋店（閉店）と横浜そごう店（閉店））。
場所はJR新大阪駅ビルの1階と2階の2か所。
座席はJR改札から近い27087407,2階]はカウンター席とテーブル席、1階はテーブル席。
目的に応じて使い分けできますね。
1階へ午後訪問。
店内は奥行きがあり、テーブル席はゆったりした配置。
通常であれば新幹線利用者で混雑する時間帯ですが、さすがに客入りは3～4割。
接客は丁寧で感じが良く、お茶はまめに継ぎ足してくれました。
メニューは以下の通り（価格は税込み）。
・うどんすき（3,960円、コース5,000円～）
・だししゃぶ（5,060円、コース6,000円～）
・季節膳（1,815円、1,880円）、天丼（1,550円、1,650円）
・そば・うどん（単品825～2,255円、なにわ寿司セット+600円、季節ご飯セット+480円）
季節の鱧天ぷらメニューもあり。
注文したのは以下の通り（価格は税込み）。
●かやくうどん（1,375円）
「うどんすき」の具の一部が入った「温かいうどん」です。
丼が熱々なので、添えられた器に少しずつ移していただきましょう。
具は穴子・里芋・鶏肉・椎茸・人参・三つ葉・餅・生麩・湯葉と盛りだくさん。
汁は関西風の黄金色、昆布と鰹の出汁がしっかりきいていました。
うどんのコシは強くなく、優しい口当たり。
量は適量でした。
うどんだけでは物足りない人用に、追加料金でご飯つきセット2種も用意されています。
腹具合に応じて選べるのがいいですね。
「5月中は休業」という飲食店が多かった事情から、ここは『開いていてよかった！』うどん屋さん。
安心感のある接客と安定した味に満足しました。
新大阪駅至近で会食できる場所として覚えておくと便利です。
