It is open from noon on New Year's Day, and I visited it before heading home on the Shinkansen. Although it says "Shinsekai", it seems that there are no shops in Shinsekai. However, the quality of the kushikatsu is as good as it gets, and while the kushikatsu fillings at famous restaurants these days seem small, the reasonably priced kushikatsu with plenty of meat is a true taste of Osaka. It's not too oily and has a lot of ingredients. The salmon tartare kushikatsu (not just fried salmon) and garlic toast are especially popular with my family. Also, restaurant recommended daikon radish was so delicious that I couldn't help but ask for a second helping. First, let's order from the great value beer set.
