平日限定ランチにチャレンジ！
こちらが”リーズナブルに馬肉ランチがいただけるお店”との情報をキャッチ。
「これはかなり珍しいのでは？」と、めっちゃ気になったので、お店へGO！
最寄りは大阪メトロ御堂筋線の西中島南方駅か阪急京都線の南方駅。
どちらの駅からも歩いて1分ほどで、めっちゃ近い。
お店のあるビル前に到着したのは、開店時刻の11時。
「馬肉ランチ」の赤い”のぼり”が出ていました。（※写真1）
大きなランチメニュー看板も発見。（※写真2）
「馬刺御膳」と「馬焼肉御膳」
これが基本メニューっぽいのですが、お値段1,078円（税込）。
なるほど、確かに”馬肉”ということをふまえるとなかなかに”お値打ち”。
しかし、実は事前リサーチ段階からどうしても気になっていたものが。
「こぼれ馬肉ステーキ重」
お値段は2,750円（税込）と跳ねあがるのですが、
食べログ公式情報内で「おすすめ」と表記されており、
何より、この写真のインパクト。
名前に違わず、”こぼれんばかりに”馬肉がたっぷりと盛られている。
どうしてもこれが食べたい！
ということで、今回はこれを注文させていただきます。
決意を胸に、ビル内へ。
階段を上がって3Fへ。
お店のフロアまで上がらんとするところで、大きなベルが鳴り、
店員さんがお出迎えしてくださいました。
1名であることを伝えると、窓際のテーブル席にご案内。
で、あとは注文を伝えて待機。
かなり広々とした店内。
内装はいかにも”居酒屋さん”って感じですが、
しっかり清掃されて、ちゃんと整っている。
他のお客は1～2人の男性客。
仕事の合間っぽいスーツ姿の皆さまが多め。
壁には、大きな馬肉の部位の図面パネルが飾られている。
学びも得られますね。
注文からご提供までは、20分少々。（※写真3）
思った以上にかかりましたが、お重を見た瞬間、
「・・・おおお！」と。
たっぷりの馬肉が1枚1枚丁寧に盛られ、きれいに敷き詰められている。
名前のとおり、しっかり”お重のふち”から”こぼれて”いて、下のご飯が見えない。
なるほど、これは時間がかかるのも頷ける。
では、別皿のステーキソースを回しかけて、
中央に卵黄がのっていますが、まずはそれを崩さずに一口！
・・・ほおお。
柔らかくて、癖も少なくて、食べやすい肉質。
なかなかに脂身もある。
今まで食べた馬肉のイメージで、
もっと”赤身赤身”してて、たぎるような”肉肉しさ”があると思ったけど、これはちょっと意外。
きっとこれは”お行儀のいい馬”。
甘さ控えめのステーキソースと、相性がいい。
卵黄を途中で崩すと、旨味がグンと増したので、これは”マスト”ですね。
この食べやすさも相まって、スイスイ進むので、
結果、ボリュームはちょうどよいくらいでした。
脇には、味噌汁、グリーンサラダ、マッシュポテト付き。
”和洋折衷”の付け合わせ。
完食後、お会計を済ませ、お店を後に。
レシートの「2,750円」という金額を見て、改めて「贅沢しちゃったな」と。
”馬肉”ですが、非常に食べやすかったので、馴染みがない方もトライしやすそうですね。
