Opened on April 1, 2020! This is a soy sauce ramen specialty store where you can enjoy the most popular "Yuzu soy sauce ramen", as well as Chinese noodles and "Mazesoba (Soupless noodles)" with a spec |
I was wandering around Higashi Mikuni after work and had heard of this place, but I didn't really feel like going in. I wonder why? Maybe they're particular about soy sauce, since the name of the restaurant includes "shoyu Ramen? Entering the restaurant The restaurant is small but neat. It's interesting that the raised area is shaped like chairs. It's very clean. I clicked on the ticket machine at the entrance and ordered my favorite ramen (normal) + char siu bowl for 1,100 yen. It's the same price as the special Ramen, and the special seems to have more rare char siu and seasoned egg. I waited a little while for the bowl to arrive, and it seemed like they made it very carefully. First, I took a sip of the soup. After the aroma of the bonito flakes, the umami of the shellfish broth spread in my mouth, and the slight sweetness was probably the sweetness of the vegetables. The fine back fat adds richness, making it a delicious soy sauce soup. I didn't feel the soy sauce flavor too much. The noodles were medium-thin, curly noodles that went well with the soup. The rare char siu and thick bamboo shoots were soft and tasty. The generous serving of white spring onions has a nice texture. The mizuna leaves add a refreshing touch and color to the dish. The roasted fried onions add a nice accent to the flavor. I think Ramen is very well-balanced. However, the pork rice bowl that comes with Ramen is amazing value for money and has great contents. The ramen is 900 yen, so it's actually 200 yen! (It's 250 yen on its own) It's topped with lots of cubes of rare pork, bonito flakes, and a refreshing sauce. The mayonnaise also works well. You should definitely try this. Ah, it was delicious. I later checked Tabelog and found out there's a coupon for a 150 yen seasoned egg! I messed up. Please be careful. Thank you for the meal \Manpuku/ Postscript: Now that I think about it, maybe the reason I didn't go there was because the purple sign in front of the store, which was originally painted to represent soy sauce, had faded in the sun and looked a little worn.
