Okomenokamisama, located just outside Miyakojima Station on the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line, was featured on "Bomby Girl" as a restaurant with a 30 million yen debt (Ramen), so there was a huge line. I hate waiting in line, so I gave up in an instant. Then, where should we have lunch? I circled around the area. I check my wallet and see that it is 824 yen. Hmmm, that's one yen out of pocket for a 750 yen lunch if tax is not included. I circle back around to that point of view. A little south of Okomenokamisama is a yakitori restaurant. Oh, the fried chicken set meal is 480 yen. And, happily, the price includes tax. What a surprise, you can get change for just one coin. It is a great thing to be able to eat a set meal at such a reasonable price nowadays. Let's put the "munemomo" problem aside for the sake of this price. After disinfecting your fingers with alcohol at the entrance of the restaurant, you pass through the door. The man with the non-contact thermometer told me that he would measure the temperature at my throat. I see. If you measure your temperature with your forehead, it will inevitably come out low because of the cold outside temperature. After passing the temperature test, you enter the restaurant. I sit down at the counter. The counter is like a box with a wooden divider. There is a tube for exhaust hanging in front of you. The restaurant is a yakitori restaurant, but it seems to be the type of yakitori restaurant where you grill the chicken yourself. I ordered the fried chicken set meal. Of course, I also ask for a large serving of rice, which is free of charge. Here it comes. The large serving of fried chicken and rice is really a large serving, and it comes in a bowl the size of a rice bowl, which is smaller than a rice bowl. Chicken soup. The three plates are takuan, leek kimchi, and potato salad. For 480 yen, this volume of food is quite impressive. In a normal restaurant, it would have cost around 800 yen. Now, let's try the fried chicken. Oh, it's a thigh. The fried meat is soft and has just the right amount of elasticity. And the juices are slowly coming out from the cross section. I have nothing to complain about. I bit into the others one by one to see if they might be a mixture of thigh and breast, but they all turned out to be thigh meat. The peppers are only a little noticeable, and the seasoning is light. It is a fried chicken that can cope well with a large serving of rice. Thank you for the meal.
