私にとって今年1番のサプライズといえば、やはりハイアットリージェンシー大阪閉館のニュースですかね。
およそ30年もの営業を続けていましたがコロナの影響ですかね？
年に1〜2回は最低訪れていただけに、とても残念です。
野外バーベキュー「ペルゴラ」のビュッフェをよく食べに行ってましたが、今回は1階にある「The Cafe」で2022年11月5日〜2023年1月29日までの土日期間限定でクラブフェスタというカニが食べられるイベントがありました。
お連れさんが私の誕生日祝いにと、予約してくれておりました。
通常のビュッフェは大人5445円、小人（6〜12歳）ですがボイルズワイガニが500g付いていて大人7865円、小人3932円。
もちろん私たちはボイルズワイガニが付いているコースをチョイス。
店自体は1階にはありますが、吹き抜けでガラス張りなので明るくて開放的。
ホットコーナーではビーフストロガノフ、チキンのポワレ、白身魚のフライ、シーフードピラフやオープンキッチンでは豚肩ロースのロースト、蟹身入りの茶碗蒸し、シェフが目の前で作ってくれるオムレツには今回、牡蠣入りも頼めます。
サラダはブラックチャナのマリネサラダ、茶蕎麦サラダ、チキンのサラダ、揚げ物はフライドチキン、ポテト、カニクリームコロッケ。その他カレーやサンドイッチ、トルティーヤ、デザートはアップルベリーパイ、フルーツショートケーキ、モンブランタルト、わらび餅等々、全て紹介しきれておりませんが、かなりの種類です。
5月に宿泊した時に朝食を食べたので味はわかっていたのですが、やはり美味。ビュッフェでこれだけの味を提供できるのは流石です。
特に旨いと個人的に思ったのはカレーやパン。やはりいつ食べてもホテルのパンやカレーは最高です。
さてメインのボイルズワイガニですが約500gということでイメージがちと湧きませんけど特大の一肩分くらいですかね。
身もぎっしり詰まっているので食べ応え充分、カニを上手に食べる人はカニフォークはあまり使用せず、殻をポキポキ折って食べます。カニカマみたいなきれいな形で取り出せるんですよ。塩の塩梅も絶妙で食べ疲れもありません。
そうそう、野外バーベキュー「ペルゴラ」は残念ながら今年は開催しません。
去年の7月16日〜9月25日のテーマは「Lani Hawaii（楽園のハワイ）」。マウイのシェフからレシピを取り寄せて再現された本格的なハワイアンフード。
ハワイ好きなので去年は2回行きました。
もう食べられなくなるのはとても残念です。自分自身のためにペルゴラの写真も数枚載せておきます。
もうハワイアンフードもカニ料理も食べられませんが6月いっぱいまで「The Cafe」は開催しております。
