近辺の店を訪れる度に言っているような気もするが、私はなるべくなら関大前には近寄りたくない。狭い道路を道幅一杯に我が物顔で闊歩するような軽い学生は、人間としてあまり好きではないからだ。ならば新型インフルエンザ（略して新フルエンザ）で休講になっている今こそ、パスタの店では一際評価の高いここを訪れるチャンスである。
正門から目と鼻の先にあるこの店、外観も内装も瀟洒な構えである。時期的なものもあってか学生はほとんどおらず、見込みが当たった格好となった。
ディナーコースは前菜にパスタ、メインとパンにドルチェまでついてなんと2000円。ワインを合わせても2人で7000円程度となると、安い居酒屋で飲んでいるのとさほど違わない価格設定である。いくら学生街とはいえあまりにも安いと思うが、10年前の自分を鑑みると、学生の財布にはそれでも少々厳しいのかもしれない。
パスタが美味しいと評判だったものの、少なくともディナーで訪れた分にはそうでもなかった。安いだけに、すべては値段との兼ね合いになるだろうか。とはいえ、決して粗悪品を出す訳ではない。それなりの雰囲気を味わいたい関大生は是非訪れてみると良いだろう。
