When I went on a business trip to Osaka, I got in touch with an old friend and we had a drink at this restaurant. This is a Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) restaurant located right next to Ishibashi Station, where my friend lives. Although I used to live in Osaka, this is my first time visiting this station. We started off by ordering draft beer and choregi salad (390 yen), Miyazaki's specialty momoyaki (half 490 yen), totton kushikatsu (590 yen), and teppanyaki meatballs (390 yen). The spicy dressing on the salad was delicious, and the grilled thighs had a nice chewy texture, but it was disappointing that the portion was smaller than I expected since it was half-sized. My friend and I are both eating kushikatsu, so they don't get mad at me for dipping them in the sauce twice. I changed my drink from draft beer to shochu mixed with water and ordered the famous thigh tataki (620 yen), Miyazaki chicken tataki (990 yen), and toroki moyaki (390 yen). Both Miyazaki chicken and thigh tataki are exquisite. The rare grilled chicken liver was also great. I think the shochu mixed with water at this restaurant is stronger than at a typical Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). It's a good store. Thank you for the meal.
