ある日のランチ。病院ついで。
１０月５日オープンのネパール料理のお店に行ってみました。大阪市都島区東野田町から移転して来られたそうです。

場所は高槻阪急の西向かい、【京菓子處 鼓月】さん横の路地を入ったトコロ。居酒屋割烹【からさき】さんと【プルメリアリゾート】さんの間。以前、【からさき】さんの座敷席だった部分。
エントランスがエキゾチックに変身。でも、靴を脱いで上がるシステムや靴箱は前と一緒。内装もエキゾチック。板張りの床＆掘り込み式座卓は絨毯敷＆テーブルに。案内された部屋にはテーブル６卓椅子２６脚。１階にはもう１つ部屋があり、そちらは未確認。２階はどうなってるのかな？
大きな掃き出し窓からは路地沿いの坪庭の緑が眺められます。
注文したのは・・・

ランチセットメニューはスープ・サラダ・ドリンク付き。
メニュー写真より１品少ないので店員さんに訊いてみたところ、コレであってるそうです。ランチだからかな？
ネパールの料理はダルバートという豆のスープと何種類かのおかず、ご飯がワンプレートになったスタイルが主流だそう。
ところで、ネパールカレーとインドカレーの違いは・・・
ネパールカレーとインドカレーの大きな違いは、ネパールカレーはサラッとしたスープ状のカレーをご飯に混ぜながら食べるというスタイル。一方でインドカレーは大きなナンをカレーにつけて食べるという食べ方に関して違いがあります。私たちにとっても馴染みのあるナンですが、実はネパールではナンはほとんど食べられることがありません。

白飯
ネパールスープカレー
５種類の中からチョイス。しっかり辛い。鶏肉がゴロっとイン。鶏肉にも辛さが染み込んでる。
チキンチョイラ
焼いた鶏肉をにんにく、しょうが、そして独自のスパイスで味付けした ちょっぴり辛いスパイーシー料理・・・とのコト。そこそこ辛い。
ムラコアチャール
大根の漬物。他にジャガイモや豆などもイン。漬物なので塩辛い。
トマトアチャール
トマトの漬物。漬物なので塩辛い。
サグ
青菜炒め。じんわりスパイスが効いている。
パパドゥ
パリパリチーズ的な。塩分強め。
スープ
豆や穀物が入っていて、ほんのり甘い。コレがいちばん美味しかった。
サラダ
ラッシー
ドリンクは６種類からチョイス。
辛い＆塩辛いオカズが多く、白飯が足りないカンジ。お酒のアテには良さそうですが、ちょっと食べづらい。でもまあ、市内の他のインド・ネパール料理店では見かけない、珍しいお料理を頂けて良い経験でした。豆のスープは本当に美味しかったです。
