かなり前から「ここのピザは結構いける」といろんな人に言われていました。
しかしなかなか行くこともなく、ようやくの訪問となりました。
南船場の＜アマーク ド パラディ＞というお店と関係あるのかしら……。今出川の同志社大学にも同名のイタリアン・カフェレストランがあるようです。
テラスもあり、ガラス張りの明るい店内ですが、注文はどうするのかな？
奥のわかりにくいところに券売機がありました。
買って、ピザの販売スペースに言って食券を提示します。
そして席に座ったはいいけどどこでお水をもらえばいいのか。
キョロキョロ探しているとすぐ近くにウォーターサーバーが設置されているのを見つけました。コップは緑だの黄色だのカラフルですが、風景になじんで目立ちません。
思ったほど待ちませんでした。
注文したピザは「日替わりピザ」で、「ビスマルク」とかいうやつです。
調べてみると"鉄血宰相"の異名を取ったドイツのビスマルクが卵料理を好んだため、同盟国だったイタリアでは「ビスマルク風」と称するたまごを使った料理がたくさん生まれたとかなんとか。
直径は25センチぐらいはあるでしょうか。
生地は分厚いですが、空気をかなり含んでおりふわふわです。
ハムとえのきに半熟卵が絡まり、底に窯焼きの香ばしさがただよいます。
ふかふかの生地。
そこにベーコンの塩気ときのこの旨味、それらをやさしくつつむ半熟卵のまったりこってり。
おいしいです。
ただ、見た目ほどのボリュームはありません。
ハッピーアワーを利用して安く昼呑みもできるようです。
ほかのランチメニューもリーズナブルだし、ときどき利用するかもしれません。
