I came here today. There's an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that recently opened in Kawaramachi Shopping District, right next to Hirakatashi Station.It seems like they're also open for lunch, so I decided to give it a try.( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ The interior is spacious and has a high ceiling, with a kitchen space in the back. There are 3 counter seats in the front, table seats for 2 to 4 people, and terrace seats along the road. It is managed by two women. Looking at the menu, it seems that Seafood is their specialty. I didn't care about that and ordered the "fried chicken set meal" (^∧^)ﾉ...I came after a while. The tray contained rice, a main dish, pickles, and miso soup, and I was told that I could refill the rice, but from the beginning it was a ridiculously large portion ((◎-◎;) I was wrapped in sweat and thin clothes. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside, but the meat itself is a little less elastic and juicy, and the seasoning is modest, so I sprinkle some rock salt on the table.The miso soup has wakame seaweed, onions, and green onions for a homely taste.
