I came here for the first time looking for soft-shelled turtle! I made a phone reservation the day before just before 8pm, but I was told that a reservation was required, so the chef went out of his way to leave a voicemail with his supplier and had them get the food for him. The soft-shelled turtle course was 9,800 yen for two people. We came as a group of three, and having read reviews saying that everything on the menu at this restaurant is delicious, we ordered a course for two, but the restaurant was kind enough to divide everything into three portions, which we were very grateful for. Blood on the course... Since it was my first time, I was hesitant to try the blood, but it tasted like apple juice and was delicious! Both the hearts and the eggs are extremely fresh! I was also impressed with the soft-shelled turtle broth, which I tried for the first time in a hotpot. We also ordered the tempura platter and the sashimi platter, and everything was delicious. The rice porridge at the end was amazing! Was it a family-run business? The restaurant had a very homey atmosphere, with a couple who seemed to be the chef's parents and were very attentive to our needs. I will come again! Thank you for purchasing soft-shelled turtle even though I asked for it!
