Today, after visiting a grave as a family during Obon, I decided to have dinner with my eldest son and grandson who live in Osaka. Since my grandson is only 2 and a half years old, I decided to ask my eldest son to reserve a restaurant with a private room, so he took this restaurant. At 11am when the store opened, I met my family from Nara and my eldest sons from Osaka. I entered the room just as it opened. Nowadays, with the coronavirus, I feel safe in a private room. I ordered a Hitsumabushi Gozen meal and a bottle of beer. Kami drives the car, so it's just me and my second son who drink alcohol. I already knew how to eat Hitsumabushi Gozen, but it came with a paper with instructions on how to eat it, so I used that as a reference (lol).I left 1/4 as is, 1/4 with condiments on top, and the rest with dashi chazuke. I enjoyed it three times. The accompanying eel, vegetables, steamed egg custard, soup, and pickled vegetables were all delicious. I wanted to eat something more, and since there was a Hokkaido festival going on, I ordered assorted Hokkai nigiri, butter-grilled scallops, and fried Hokkaido octopus from the menu. All of the nigiri Sushi are delicious with plump Seafood, and the scallops in particular are quite meaty. Deep-fried octopus is chewy and makes a good side dish. Butter-grilled scallops are made by roasting thick scallops, corn, asparagus, and potatoes in scallop shells and eating them with butter and dashi soy sauce. The ingredients were typical of Hokkaido, and the seasoning was good, especially the asparagus. I wonder if the potatoes are a special brand because their flesh is yellow? I didn't understand (lol) My grandson ate the children's meal properly, and was happy to receive a toy car at the exit on the way home. This time, I was able to eat in peace in a private room, and I was worried about coronavirus infection. There wasn't any. The customer service was very good and I enjoyed my meal. We will use you again.
