自宅近くの焼鳥店。
某焼き鳥チェーン店のような名前で、チェーン展開してるのかと思いきや、現在はこちらの１号店だけのよう。
駐車場も完備されてるが、呑まずに焼鳥を食べるのは無理なんで開店から現在まで未訪状態だったが、今夜はママ友の呑み会、更に息子のリクエストもあり自転車で初訪問。
全てテーブル席というファミリーレストランのような店内は、炭火焼きなんで厨房近くは少し煙たい。
そして、案内されたテーブルにメニューはあるが、注文は全て「ipad」というシステム。
(ipad大好きな息子には好評だったが、酒呑みとしては最初の１杯くらいは口頭でオーダーしたい)
とりあえず、生ビール(プレモルor金麦どちらも１杯198円)からプレモルを選択、息子はコーラでスタート。
串を適当に５本くらい、他には唐揚げ、牡蠣フライ、ひね鶏の炭火炙り焼き等をオーダー。
ドリンクの提供も早く、このスタイルのオペレーションにしてはスムーズなほうで、混雑してなければストレスは感じない。
味についても、唐揚げや牡蠣フライ等の揚げ物は凡庸だったが、串は予想以上に旨かった。
特に「キモ」「ハツ元」「つくね」は中々のもので、小学生の息子も「モモや唐揚げ」より「キモ」や「ハツ元」が旨いと自分で追加注文してた…将来、確実に呑んだくれになりそうだ。
(嬉しいような、悲しいような複雑な気分)
息子が「焼鳥」の旨さに目覚めたようなので、今後の訪問頻度が増えそうだ。
