1 minute walk from Kintetsu Yao Station (Osaka). This is a Meat Dishes restaurant that mainly serves local chicken, mainly Satsuma chicken. I was told by a person who owns this area that Yao is a fierce battleground for yakitori, and he took me to a restaurant he recommended (^_^) The exterior was surreal with pale yellow walls and a metallic door. appearance. The signboard is hard to read, so it's hard to recognize that this is a restaurant (^_^;) The inside of the store has a capacity of about 20 people including the counter and tables. Contrary to the exterior, the interior is warm and has a relaxing Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) atmosphere. I visited on a weekday night, but there were about 10 customers. The kitchen was run by two people: the owner who cooked and the woman who helped. The menu is centered around chicken sashimi and grilled dishes, and there are also plenty of daily specials. There is also a free-range chicken grilled course and a free-range chicken hotpot course. They have a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, but they seem to put a lot of effort into shochu. This restaurant seems to have a strong focus on Kyushu, including the use of Satsuma chicken. I'm planning on going on a ladder after this, so I gave up on eating a big meal at the course. We were given a quick look at the items that allow us to quickly enjoy the goodness of this store (^_^) At first, we toasted with beer. After that, I switched to potato shochu. The stick out was a konnyaku with roe filled with cod roe, and it was beautiful and excellent to look at. [b: Chilled tomatoes] Small, high-quality tomatoes with high sugar content. There was also mayonnaise, but it tastes the best when eaten simply with salt (^_^) I was thinking of this dish lightly as a palate cleanser between meals of chicken, but I was surprised to find that they used good quality tomatoes. [b: Assorted Sashimi] Assortment of 5 items: Kimo, Yamauni, Kokoro, Umemoto, and Chicken fillet. The seasoning is quite elaborate, with sesame salt, ponzu sauce, and plum sauce. As expected, all of the sashimi was exceptionally delicious since they use high-quality local chicken, but the one that was especially good was the Kimo. This melts in your mouth (T_T) It's really fun to eat because you can taste the different textures of each part and the variety of seasonings. Definitely recommended than eating it alone. [b: Grilled Assortment] 5 items: fillet, thigh, skin, seseri, and bonjiri. The chicken at this restaurant is Grilled skewer by yourself using a gas rotor, rather than being skewered. The moment I saw this assortment, I knew it was a winner. The texture is completely different from regular chicken. The slightly soft texture makes it taste even better ^m^ All of them are of the highest quality, as you would expect if you grill them until the fat melts. There is nothing to complain about in terms of texture, fat, and flavor. In particular, the seseri has a very concentrated flavor. The chicken has a chewy texture and the flavor of the chicken overflows with every bite. Are you using thigh meat? The meat inside is plump and juicy, and the crunchy, fragrant coating brings out the flavor even more. It's delicious with just the right amount of oiliness (^_^) This fried chicken has the rather impressive title of ``Winner of the 4th Yao Umaimon Grand Prix'', but it's delicious enough. Local chicken shops tend to compete with the quality of the ingredients, but in addition to the quality of the ingredients, this shop also puts a lot of time and effort into its preparation (^_^) I personally prefer this way of eating chicken. , Even without those factors, it was great. Today's bill is about 4000 yen per person. This content is more than enough. As expected, Yao is a fiercely competitive area. It's scary, isn't it? Thank you for the meal.
