Since opening its first store in Wakayama, Cocoiro Cafe has expanded to suburban areas such as Izumisano, Kishiwada, and Higashiosaka, so I went there with SUNNY... There is a parking lot shared with drugstores and restaurants, which is convenient for customers who come from far away... (It's quite crowded though...) Actually, this is my first visit to Cocoiro Cafe. I wonder if it's a restaurant that mainly serves pasta and omelet rice? There was a suspicious POP at the entrance... The normal size is M size, and it's for two people? ...S size is 100 yen off for one person... So, all the basics are large? According to the store's explanation, they also have surprise menus that are out of the ordinary, such as a 40cm tower-class parfait and a 5kg omelet Omelette Rice... Let's go in... Hmm... All the tables are separated by curtains, so you can enjoy a private room-like atmosphere. This is the lunch menu, and it seems they have a set menu with daily lunch specials, fried chicken, pork shogayaki, tonkatsu, chicken nanban, etc. But the main thing here is the one-plate menu you can choose from. Omelette Rice lunch, pasta lunch, pilaf lunch, daily pizza lunch, and Ainori special lunch customers can choose from this select menu. However, it seems this is not everything. I see... "Ainori special" sounds good... the other menus look delicious too. And the prices are generally cheap too... There's just one thing that bothers me... "Children's lunch for adults"... Just hearing these words makes me remember a certain restaurant in Higashi-Osaka where I left a huge amount of food the other day, and it makes my heart ache... (^^;) You order using this "iPad"... It's partitioned and there's no contact, so it's very reassuring... There are a lot of female staff, and they're all cute... The service is also great, with a smile... The old man was like "Pop..." though... (*´д`*) After hesitating to choose from various menu items, I chose this "Turkish rice"... The problem was the portion... It's a normal medium size, and is it enough for two people? If I order a large, will it be enough for three people? I don't want to leave any leftovers (I'm traumatized by giving up the other day) For now, let's go with the "large size"... [Large Turkish Rice] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As an aside, each table is separated by a curtain, so it's hard to tell which table you're at when you go to the toilet and come back. While I was saying this, a huge plate was brought in... It was quite heavy... Curry pilaf, Neapolitan, Pork Cutlet, and salad were all placed on the large plate. The volume of each dish was incredible... (⌒-⌒; ) Even the spaghetti, which looks like a side dish, was easily enough for one person... The rich flavor of the Neapolitan was the taste of a good old Coffee shops... The pork cutlet was thick and fried crispy. It has demi-glace sauce on top... This tonkatsu is also a flavor changer to use up a large amount of pilaf. Now... it's the pilaf zone in question... I wonder how much there is... It's about three servings. Don't underestimate it... It was a light-flavored curry pilaf, so it was perfect for eating a lot... I devoured the rice with the tonkatsu and spaghetti as a side dish (is spaghetti weird lol)... That's how it went... Halfway through, I sprinkled the Tabasco on the table over the whole thing to enjoy a change of flavor... Oh yeah... It came with soup, and I managed to finish it all... After the meal, I had iced coffee. It was a satisfying volume... When I paid, there was a line in the waiting room and outside, so it was a very successful business. It seemed that there were a lot of female customers in particular... Thank you for the meal... "Cocoiro Cafe Yao Branch (Turkish Rice) @ Yao City" http://hashidamen.blog46.fc2.com/blog-entry-3949.html
