今年３月ゆめタウン佐賀にオープンした串揚げビュッフェの店です。
オープン当初はすごい人手でしたが、最近はずいぶん落ち着いてきているようです。
土曜日の夜６時３０分ごろ伺いました。店内は７、８割ほどのお客の入りでしょうか。それほど混雑してはいません。
ネタケースに入った串を取ってきて、小麦粉の溶き粉にくぐらせパン粉を付けます。その後テーブルごとに備え付けられたフライヤーで揚げる、という手順です。パン粉をつけるときにタマゴを使わないのと使われている油の性質もあってか、どことなくあっさりとしています。
ネタはエビ、牛肉、ブタ肉、アスパラガス、エリンギ、レンコン、サツマイモ、ジャガイモなど定番のものから、たこ焼き、たい焼きなどの変わりものまでさまざまで豊富でした。
テーブルで自分で揚げるのは物珍しさもあってなかなか楽しかったです。ネタを入れてしばらくすると浮いてきますので、すぐに引き上げ油を切りながら、エビや肉は時間短めに、レンコン、イモ類はやや長めに余熱で仕上げるのがコツのようでした。
また、私は食べませんでしたが、サラダやカレーなどご飯類、デザートも豊富でした。
ただ、ネタの質はやはりそれなりで、夜は食べ放題９０分で２６２５円という価格を考えると、正直この値段を出すのなら串揚げ専門店でいただく方が満足感は高いと思います。
