★ Cheap and good Yakiniku (Grilled meat)
間と一緒に おいしいお野菜とおいしいお酒を楽しみました。 English: The second day of the new year I can't eat Osechi two days in a row, but I would like to try some Zoni This morning, they made just one mochi from the start I was forced to eat two on New Year's Day and still wasn't hungry by lunchtime If it was just one, I could have eaten lunch as normal When I had conveyor Conveyor belt sushi for lunch on New Year's Day, I noticed on my way home that a Korean Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant nearby had a lunch sign up I had decided the day before that I would come here the next day The restaurant is located along the prefectural road in Koga-cho, Tosu City, Saga Prefecture Several MyRev members have been there, and I had also been there once last year I arrived at 11:30 and there were already several groups of customers munching on meat A staff member guided me to a small table for four and ordered Lunch A (980 yen) ← Only on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays I was astonished when I saw the meat piled on the plate It was so filling It was almost too much! Let me count, 7 slices of beef ribs and 6 slices of pork ribs. They were also thick and irresistible. Hmm, there were no grilled vegetables whatsoever... There were 3 types of sauce prepared, but they only used the original soy sauce-based sauce... Maybe miso sauce and yuzu sauce? The gas stove is lit and the grilling begins. It is the habit of poor people to always cook a little at a time before eating. For the price, the kalbi meat is more than tender enough, but you don't want to overcook it, so just quickly sear it and eat it. It tastes great with some sauce and eaten with rice, and I would describe this as a wonderful lunch. There was just a little bit of cabbage kimchi, but I would have liked to eat more. On the plate were three types of food: bracken namul, daikon and cucumber in vinegar, and spinach salad. The rice was cooked on the firmer side. It's not new rice, but it was perfectly edible. I'd rate it a 3.5 in terms of quality. I was allowed to have a second helping of rice once, but I didn't. If I had the money, I would have wanted to eat Lunch B, but that's why it's hard for poor people to have to endure.

I don't live a wealthy life like everyone else, so I still eat frugal lunches every day. Sometimes I want to eat beef, and at least once a month I want to eat real meat, not offal. The fact that I want to eat this at least once a month is proof that I don't eat meat on a regular basis. I remembered that I can get meat for a cheap lunch at that restaurant. It's located along the prefectural road in Koga-cho, Tosu City, Saga Prefecture. I think I'll go there after a long time. It's been almost two years since my last visit. I arrived just after 11:30 on a weekday. I entered the restaurant and was shown to a semi-private table for four. From the lunch menu, I ordered the Special Wagyu Beef Set Meal for 1,000 yen (tax included). It's because I'm poor that I think of it as a small, luxurious lunch. The smokeless roaster on the table is lit, and I wait for the food. It is served so quickly, as if it had been prepared in advance. Although it was a cheap lunch, the meat was pretty good. There were seven slices, and the fat was noticeable, but the marbling was nicely done. What part of the meat was it from? I think it was loin meat, but it didn't come with any grilled vegetables. On a separate plate there was salad with spinach, pickled radish, and bracken namul. A small plate of kamchi with seaweed soup and vegetable salad came with all of this. I had heard that you could have one refill of rice. I quickly turned the heat on the stove down and started grilling. Good meat can be simply seared. I put garlic in the main sauce, dipped the lightly grilled meat in the sauce and took a bite. The meat was so tender, and so sweet. It wasn't loin meat. Judging from the sweetness, perhaps it was from the chinomi. The joy of being able to stuff my mouth with such fine meat seven times. It had a strong flavor. It was expensive, so seven slices was enough to satisfy me. Or rather, maybe it's because it's been a while since I've eaten beef. It didn't fill me up, but this made me feel satisfied. I was able to eat the small amount of meat, savoring the taste slowly. Next month, I'll go to another restaurant for Yakiniku (Grilled meat) again. I'm looking forward to this. I'll think about which restaurant to go to.
