Ureshino Onsen's specialty: Hot spring tofu
The unique feature of Soan Yokocho's hot spring tofu is that the broth is already flavored, so you can eat the tofu as is without adding any sauce. You can also add shrimp or vegetables to the sauce. |
嬉野温泉に年越しに来たお昼に嬉野の湯豆腐発祥のこのお店へ！10:30開店に11:50に来たら、既に21組目…最初は11組が入ってる様なんで、２回り目！しかし、ここからが長かった…５人だったせいも有り、後順の方々も沢山お待ちやし、バラ席でも良いよとお店のおばさんに話すが、相席はさせないシステムの様…。４人がけ席に座れず1時間かかりようやく離れの座敷席に案内されました。
ここから更に料理が出てくるのに30分程かかり、1時間半かかってようやくお目当ての湯豆腐…。まあまあ疲れました…。
お腹ぺこぺこになり、刺身付き湯豆腐定食をオーダー！
この豆腐は、嬉野温泉水の化学反応か？濃厚豆腐が溶け出し、豆腐本来の風味が活きた秘伝の白濁した湯汁の中に、口の中でとろっとろにとろけるような豆腐の食感と豆腐の旨みが感じられるなめらか食感の湯豆腐が沈んでいて、濃厚でそのまま食べても甘みを感じられるほどの濃厚さ！
こんな湯豆腐は食べた事がない程の旨みを感じられる美味しさです‼︎
付いてくるポン酢は、エビや白菜・かまぼこ等の具材に付けて頂くためのもので、そのままで充分に旨みのある味わいでした。
待ち時間を短縮する為の工夫をすれば、さらに高得点をつけられる美味しさなんで、土休日は開店前に並ぶのがオススメです。
