アジア・エスニック百名店2022選出店。さいたま市桜区の埼大通り沿いにある異国情緒全開なウイグル料理店です。車であれば埼玉大学から結構近いです。
とはいえ駐車場がないため、お店の近くにある信用金庫のコインパーキングに停めました。なんと週末は60分100円というドが付くほどの情熱価格。ここ以外の選択肢は考えられませんな。
どうやら、ムラトさんの並び一帯がホルモン焼き屋さんなど飲み屋街になってるようですね。引き戸をガラガラ開けてお邪魔します。
おおっ、内装が日本に居ることを忘れさせるほど！
・ムラトラグメン 1200円
・平麺 300円
ラグメンとはラム肉と野菜の炒め物のことで、ウイグルでは定番料理とのこと。僭越ながら初めて聞きました。
別メニューであるラグメンと、今回注文した"ムラト"ラグメンの違いを伺ったところ、御店主も説明はちょっと難しいと。 ムラトラグメンはラグメンより量が多くて、麺と炒め物が別々に出てくる、いわばつけ麺的なスタンスとのことでした。
ラグメンはパスタのように最初から具とスープが掛かっているという話でしたが、ラグメンのメニュー写真も麺と別皿に盛られています。＋100円高いのはボリューム的な問題なのでしょうか。説明を聞いても謎が深まる。
おっふ、唐辛子を避けて食べても結構辛いぞ。
そこに角切りのジャガイモが手を差し伸べてくる。キクラゲが入っていて中華テイストも少し想起。
麺はオススメの平麺にして正解ですね。自家製麺はモチモチとして適度なコシがあり、例えるなら武蔵野うどんに近い。これは何とも面妖な…図らずもシルクロードから翔んで埼玉とな。
・ベンシェル 980円
日本でいう水餃子です。
調味料は赤くて辛そうな面持ちですが、黒酢にゴマ油を掛けたもので香り高くもスッキリとした味わい。メニューにはピリ辛と書いてありますが、食べやすいですよ。
上記の調味料を付けなくてもラム挽肉にしっかりとした味が付いており、そのまま食べても十分にウマイ。いやむしろ、そのままの方が美味しいかも？
噛むとアツアツの肉汁が飛び出る爆汁餃子みたいな仕様。これは結構当たりメニューですね！
ハートランド片手に、良い肴でありんした。
たまには馴染みの店から気分を変えたいという貴方、小旅行気分でムラトへいかがでしょうか？
ご店主は現地の方っぽいですがとても気さくな方でした。
