Visited for lunch while shopping. Omiya Station is at the end of the year, so all the shops are crowded. The line at Keishoan was relatively short, and we were seated within 15 minutes. This restaurant mainly serves chicken dishes, and Nagoya Cochin's Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl) is a popular dish, but I wanted to enjoy noodles as well, so I ordered a half set of salted chicken soba and Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl). (The chicken soba comes with a large serving of noodles.) This restaurant, which is directly managed by a wholesaler from Nagoya Cochin, is very particular about its chicken. Now it's time to eat the rice bowl. My first impression was the bright yellow Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl). The rich and fluffy eggs stimulate your appetite. The soup stock was strong and the taste and texture were good. The salted chicken soba was also light and delicious with plenty of chicken stock. Personally, Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl) was so delicious and impressive that I wish I had ordered the full bowl instead of the half. Thank you for the meal!
