イングリッシュパブのお店である。
地下一階に下りたところにお店はある。
ランチは平日のみ営業していて、木曜日だけがお休みである。
以前に木曜日にお店の前を通ったら閉まっていた。
近くには高島屋大宮店、野菜料理のVegetable kitchen ごくりやとんかつ屋さんの山下軒、オオミヤバルなどがある。
お店の造りはテーブル席とカウンター席がある。
WiFiはフリーである。
店内には英語が飛び交う。
しかし、店員さんは日本人なので日本語で通じる。
キャッシュオンのカウンターオーダー制になっている。
キングジョージバーガーとジンジャーエールを食した。
キングジョージバーガーは税込950円でジンジャーエールは税込350円で合計で税込1300円であった。
ジンジャーエールは甘口のものだが後味がすっきりとしている。
フライドポテトは細切りのもので熱々でトマトケチャップがついている。
キングジョージバーガーはチーズ、レタス、トマト、ピクルスが入り、チーズがトロトロに溶けていてパティは弾力があって食べ応えがあり、香辛料が効いている。
バンズの裏側はカリカリに焼かれている。

THE KING GEORGE English Pub is located on the first basement floor of a building that can be reached by walking from the east exit of JR Omiya Station in Omiya Ward, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture. I visited THE KING GEORGE English Pub for the first time in a while on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. The restaurant has counter seats and table seats, and the interior has an antique and stylish atmosphere. The customer base is wide, both young and old, and it was quite crowded. J-POP was playing inside the restaurant, and the TV was on. When I sat down at the counter seat, I was given cold water. I had the lasagna from the lunch menu. It came with a drink, salad, Small dish, soup, and dessert, and cost 900 yen including tax. I had iced coffee for my drink. The salad was lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, and other ingredients, topped with a dressing that had a refreshing acidity and umami flavor. The lasagna was served with meat sauce on top of the pasta. The minced meat in the meat sauce was coarsely ground and had a good flavor, and the lasagna had a smooth surface and was a little chewy. Small dish were cabbage rolls and glass noodle salad. The cabbage rolls were lightly salted and the meat was moist. The soup was full of vegetables such as cabbage, carrots, onions, and bacon, and had a mild flavor. The dessert was yogurt, with a light sweetness. The iced coffee was fragrant, bitter, and flavorful with little acidity. Delicious.
