英国の王「ジョージ」さんのことを「キングジョージ」と呼ぶようです。
ｗｉｋｉ様によると、大地で働く人を古典ギリシア語で「ゲオルギオス」と呼ぶらしく、元となったスペルは「ｇｅｏ（大地）＋ｅｒｇ（働く）」なんだそうな。
キリスト教の聖人「ゲオルギオス」にあやかって、あちらの国では名前にたくさん使われているようです。
国が違えば呼び方も変わる。
イタリアでは「ジョルジョ」
ポーランドでは「イェジー」
ロシアでは「ゲオルギー」「ユーリイ」
日本では、「所ジョージ」さんや「山本譲二」さんあたりが系譜として伝わった・・・のか？も・・・？違いますね。
地下のお店です。
何度も通っていた道。ある時何気なく、ふと気が付き「ランチ」の案内に気が付きました。
てっきり夜のお店かと思っていました。ランチがあるんだ・・・
いつか行こうと思いつつ、すっかり忘れたり思い出したけど満腹だったり・・・
本日いよいよの利用となりました。
お店を目指します。到着。地下なのか上なのかわからず、一回階段を登る。違いました。地下でした。階段を下ります。やっているのか不安な感じ。看板あったけど、入口の感じはやっているかよくわかりません。途中で店内の照明が付いているのがわかり、営業されているとホッとします。もうちょっと、入口までのアプローチに工夫があっても良いのかな？
入ります。
おば様がお出迎え。失礼ながら、どこにも英国感はありません。
席に座りメニューを見ます。
英国的なのかと思ったらランチは意外に和的なものが多し。
店内は丸いテーブルやアンティーク調のテーブルやソファー。パブ的なカウンターなどなど。ダーツも出来る感じでした。
おば様のサービス。厨房もおば様か？ランチ営業はひょっとしたら間借りなのかもですね。
和的なものにも惹かれましたが、サクッとパスタで行こうとペペロンチーノを選択。
サラダ先着。
経験上より量がちょい多め。
しばし待ちます。
カウンターの方に小さいテレビがありました。何言っているかわかりませんが、感染のお話でしょうね。
ペペロンチーノ到着・・・えっ？
てっきり、アーリオ・オーリオ・ペペロンチーノだと思っていましたが、相当に具沢山。
嬉しい反面。サクッといただきたかったので、ちょっと戸惑っちゃいました。
提供名は「ペペロンチーノ」だけなので、「唐辛子（ペペロンチーノ）」を使ったパスタ。と言う事で、あれこれ入っていても正解なんですよね。
また、量もしっかりありました。本当はカフェ的な量かなって思っての利用だっただけに、夏で暑くて食が細くなってしまい（それでもようやく人並み・・・）、ちょっと苦戦でありました。
スープ・・・いや、味噌汁がちょうどオイル感を中和させて良いものでした。
これ、オイルパスタに味噌汁って合うのかもです。今度実験してみよう。
ぶっちゃけ、ぺペロンチーノに溶いた味噌をほんの少し入れるとどうなるのだろう・・・とか、オイル多めになったパスタには和的なスープが合うという法則がありそうな気がしました。
ドリンクも選べます。ウーロン茶が到着。
お腹ポンポン。
とりあえず満足でした。
