Monthly limited udon
I had both the summer "chilled sesame udon" and the September limited "fried eggplant meat oroshi udon". Chilled sesame udon is topped with a rich sesame dipping sauce, chili peppers, mustard greens, mapo eggplant, chicken chashu, and seaweed, and can be enjoyed like dandan udon. It's crunchy with julienned cucumbers, and it's a little spicy, so you can eat it with chopsticks even when it's hot. Fried eggplant meat oroshi udon is also refreshing with grated daikon radish, but it is also hearty with meat and eggplant. I squeezed a lemon halfway through the bukkake to make it even more refreshing. From now on, Curry Udon is going to be a delicious season, so I think I'll try it.
豆乳味噌つけ麺
早めの昼食に縁尽さんでうどんを頂こうと行きました。
12時前だったので先客さんは4組ほど、一人なのでカウンターに着きました。
4月限定メニューの味噌豆乳つけ麺をいただきました。
麺は中盛りでセットにミニサラダをいただきました。
うどんが着くと、まるでラーメンの様な盛り付けでテンションが上がります。
うどんには海苔、煮卵、小松菜、鶏チャーシューが盛られています。
つけ汁にはもちろん味噌と豆乳に辣油、たっぷりの長ネギ、極薄切りの豚肉、椎茸と中華の漬物の雪菜が入っていました。
辣油はさほど辛くなくて坦々麺のような風味付けくらいのものでした。
汁の具沢山でうどんと一緒によく絡みます。
うどんは熱盛りにしてもらいました。
太めで長いうどんは敦盛なので柔らかいですが食べ応えはあって美味しくいただきました。
紙エプロンをサービスでいただいたので思いっきりうどんを啜ることが出来たのも美味しく食べられた理由の一つだと思います。
12時過ぎると近くの会社の方々がどっと来店して帰る頃には混み合っていました。

よく行っていたお店の一つなのですが、再開発のため立ち退くとのことです。
でも、上尾に移転オープン予定と嬉しいニュースもありました。
閉店前にいきます。
5月限定の「すだち塩豚つけ麺」と13時過ぎから頼めるうどん屋の中華麺半玉をいただきました。
先につけ汁うどんをいただきます。
今日のうどんはツヤツヤしていましたが少し柔らかでした。
つけ汁は出汁がしっかり効いた塩味のスープはスダチ果汁の酸味と香りでサッパリしています。
薄切りの豚肉とネギ、貝割れ大根が麺に絡んでいい具合です。
茹でたての中華麺は中太でコシがしっかりしていました。
つけ麺の汁だったので本当にラーメン屋さんのつけ麺みたいでした。
大宮での閉店は残念ですが、新店舗でも頑張って欲しいです。
