大宮駅東口から北へ進み、住吉通りを右に入って旧中仙道へ2/3ほど
行ったところの右手にあります。
店内は左手が厨房、対面式にＬ字カウンターが10席ほど。
右手に2名テーブルが2卓、右手奥に1段高くなってテーブル2卓があるようです。
先客2組3名、カウンターに案内され着席。
ランチメニューは「特製カレー500円」「特大チキンカツカレー900円」
「きまぐれカレー800円」の3種類です。
全てにサラダ・お味噌汁・食後のコーヒー(デミカップほど)が付きます。
スタッフさんは、女将さん(ママさん?)お一人で営んでいるようです。
店名からして男性がやられていると思ってました(^^;
『特大チキンカツカレー900円』を注文しました。
注文と同時にチキンがフライヤーに投入されます。
その間に、まずサラダだ提供され、すぐにお味噌汁が提供されます。
サラダを食べながらの待ち時間なので全然きになりませんでした。
ほどなくしてメインの登場です。
皿デカっ！チキンでっかぁ～！(@_@) 見ただけでもう大満足です。
サラダ
「千切りキャベツ、レタス、水菜にフレンチタイプのドレッシング」
「作り置きなのにシャキッシャキで旨かった！」
「待ち時間に丁度いい感じの量です」
お味噌汁
「ワカメと刻み青ネギのシンプルな具材、優しい味です」
「提供時間が先なので後半は完全に冷めてるのが残念」
（一人でまわしてるので効率を考えると仕方ないとこですね....）
チキンカツカレー
「揚げ時簡短縮のために薄くして、下味はしっかり付けてます」
「薄いですが大きさにビックリ！大きなお皿の半分をしめてます」
「スプーンが付いてきたかと思ったらナイフでした(^^; 」
「ルーは普通に感じましたが、あとからピリっとスパイスが」
「食べ進むほどに旨くなっていく不思議な感じ」
食後のコーヒー
「インスタントですがカレーの後に丁度いい感じでした」
次回訪問時に可能であれば、特製カレーのご飯＆ルー大盛りを頼んでみたい。
チョイと好きになったルーでした。
でもやっぱカレーには味噌汁じゃなくてスープだなぁ～(;^ω^)
