Enjoy the delicious soba noodles in a stylish, homey atmosphere.
Located a 3-minute walk from Saitama-Shintoshin Station, Soba Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) and Fresh Hoppy Shop Shintoshin Jiruya serves delicious 100% buckwheat soba noodles, carefully prepared for e |
Today, I had some quick errands to run, so I walked to Saitama Shintoshin and arrived safely Once I'd finished my errands, it was already noon Ah, what should I eat today... I was thinking about that when I suddenly heard "A night when I miss you, when you feel like crying" I was sitting down to some soba and listening to a little bit of talk Chasing, chasing, chasing... I couldn't help but sing along too I feel like Yoshi Ikuzo If you walk from the east exit (Cocoon side) of Saitama Shintoshin towards Yono station, there are lunch spots along the old Nakasendo road that are popular with businessmen Shoya, [a:11000354, Nizaemon Gintei], and [a:11027025, Kirassai] They all have great lunches But, for some reason today I'm in Yukiguni Yoshi Ikuzo mode It's not because we have the same body type I'm thinking "A night when I miss you, when you feel like crying..." It's going around in circles, so I walk along for about three minutes and there's a sign in the window that says "New soba noodles have arrived" And it's 100% buckwheat flour I guess God guides me when I'm always doing the right thing I cut through the wind with my shoulders, push the noren aside with one hand and walk briskly into the shop I take one step inside and lo and behold, it's a live music venue There are lots of guitars on the wall like interior decoration, and there's also terrace seating...and even a pool at the back Old man I like soba and live music venues I fit in with the atmosphere right away Don't say I'm unreasonable or indecisive Or that I'm pandering without waiting for my opinion A beautiful staff member presents me with the menu I immediately take a look and see they have a great value lunch menu I order a stewed offal set meal and 100% buckwheat flour soba for 980 yen By the way, you can help yourself to cold water, a cup of iced coffee, and soba soup The soba is ready in about 10 minutes A regular-sized serving of soba and stewed offal The portion of rice looks like there isn't much, but there is quite a lot. The soba is apparently 100% buckwheat flour. The website says it's hand-made, but there's nothing written inside the store. The uncle doesn't know much about soba, but it has stars and is thin and crunchy, the type the uncle likes. It's 100% buckwheat flour, but it's closer to 28% buckwheat flour...I'd like someone who is knowledgeable about soba to try it. The soba was long, though...I don't care if it's hand-made or machine-made as long as it's delicious. And the dipping sauce is thick and spicy, and the staff said to dip it in a little before eating it...so you have to eat it the Edokko way. As for the stewed offal, they have an innards restaurant next door (maybe they run by the same company? It contains daikon radish, carrots, and konjac, and the motsu is soft and plentiful. It also comes with spicy miso, so you can add it to your liking. I was excited about this delicious lunch. Finally, I had some soba soup. The soba cup looks like it's made of plastic, but that's just because the old man's photography skills are bad. I was also shown the evening menu, which had even more delicious looking dishes lined up. It's great to be able to drink while listening to live music. Next time, I'll definitely visit at night with my lovely girlfriend.
