I went there because I wanted to drink draft Hoppy, but unfortunately, they are no longer able to stock it. It seems you can't drink it at the affiliated Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant either... what a shame... But we pulled ourselves together and ordered potato salad, stewed offal, moroccoed pork cutlets, chilled tomatoes, two glasses of draft beer each for my companion, and finished off with a quick pour of a 100% buckwheat seiro. The bowls were modern red, which isn't typical of a soba restaurant, and it was a lot of fun even while drinking. It would have been even more pleasant if we had drunk on the terrace...
