大宮銀座通りに翻るベトナム国旗に導かれ、路地を入ったところにあるこちらのお店を訪ねました。
1階はベトナム物産の販売、2階が飲食店になっています。
1人で2階を担当する若い女性店員さんに迎えられました。3種類あるランチセットから、根拠は無いが最もベトナムっぽいと感じたブンボーフエセット（少し固めのビーフンと牛肉、牛骨ダシ）を注文しました。
調理場も1階にあるようで、女性店員さん、彼の地の言葉で下とやり取り、ほどなく運搬用エレベータで、料理が到着。
構成は、ブンボーフエなるものと、春巻（揚げ・生）、デザート。ドリンクも付きます。
少し固めのビーフンは、あまり固くありませんでした。牛肉は載っていたものの、味をスープに絞り出されたためか、肉そのものは出がらしの茶葉状態です。スープは美味しく、かつ辛く、つい口に運んでしまい、汗がにじみます。デザートはタピオカに刻んだココナツをまぶしたもののようです。
本場のベトナム料理を存じませんが、こんな味わいなのでしょう。興味を持ったら、1階の物販店で買って、自宅で再現もできるようです。
