埼京線&武蔵野線の武蔵浦和駅から徒歩１〜２分のイタリアンです。店名に「トラットリア」を付して気軽さを示していますね。また入り口前の黒板にチョークで手書きした看板には、地元の食材を積極的に取り入れていることをさりげなくアピールしています。
平日限定ランチメニューから「北海道産の魚介とアンチョビ、オリーブ、ケッパーの娼婦風トマトソース スパゲッティーニ（1,280円）」を選択。セットでサラダ、自家製パン、狭山の冷たい紅茶が付いています。このほかに「デザート&カフェセット（＋550円）」とグラスで白のハウスワイン（880円）を追加注文しました。
席への案内と同時にテーブルにサービスされたのは狭山の冷たい紅茶。埼玉県の特産品をさっそく提供です。さっぱりとして口当たりのよいお茶なので、もし私が酒呑みでなかったなら、このお茶で食事していたかもしれません。
続いてサラダと自家製パン。サラダ野菜の色の鮮やかさに目を奪われます。表の看板に書かれているように、さいたま市産のヨーロッパ野菜ですね。さいたま市では、実はヨーロッパ野菜もかなり作られているのです。そしてこのサラダがなかなかの美味。野菜の扱いが巧みで、パリッとして歯切れよく、素材の味がフレッシュに感じられます。
アンチョビ、オリーブ、ケッパーのトマトソース、すなわちプッタネスカは、パスタソースの定番のひとつですね。酸味がポイントになるソースだと思いますが、そこに魚介類の旨味とコクをプラスということでしょうか。そしていただいたパスタは、予想を越える美味しさでした。マイルドな旨味たっぷりで、独特の塩味と酸味がほどよいアクセントになっていました。こういうプッタネスカもあるのかと、思わず唸った次第です。
グラスでいただいた白ワインとの相性も完璧だと思いました。
デザートは、これまたチャーミングなひと皿。彩りの美しさ、味わいのバランスのよさ。このデザートとコーヒーで550円とは、破格のコスパといえるのではないでしょうか。
こちらのシェフはイタリアのリストランテで活躍なさったキャリアをお持ちの方だとか。そうした経歴を知らずとも、お料理をいただけばその実力は明らかになります。
今回は初訪問でしたが、１度でファンになりました。できるだけ早く再訪したいと思っています。
