[3 minutes from Musashi-Urawa Station] A restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine and alcohol at reasonable prices. Lunch and courses available◎
You can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine in a relaxed and stylish restaurant. The menu offers about 100 items at reasonable prices, from appetizers to meat dishes, seafood, noodles, and rice dishes. Yo |
It's been a while since I had lunch on a weekday in Saitama. It's been so long that I decided to open my black leather notebook. Hmm. I didn't go for a proper lunch, but I went for a bit of rehabilitation and went to this place that looked like it had good value for money. It's a few minutes walk from the east side of Urawa Station. It's in a corner where there are many restaurants. I went in after 12 o'clock, and there were about 10 customers ahead of me and a few more after me. I don't know how many people the restaurant can accommodate, but I thought it was spacious. The atmosphere is like a chain restaurant. The lunch menu is large and divided into set meals and noodles. The set meals are 650, 760, and 870 yen, and there are about five types each. There are seven types of Noodles for 910 yen. In addition to this, there are Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), fried rice, and char siu noodles in the 960 yen price range. I thought I could get the mapo vermicelli from the cheapest 650 yen, but I somehow wanted to compare it with the mapo eggplant I had eaten a few days ago, so I went for the mapo eggplant. It was served in less than 10 minutes. *** Mapo eggplant. It is stir-fried with chili bean paste and sweet bean paste. I wonder if they use commercial seasonings. The eggplant has a hard skin. It is easier to eat if it is partially peeled. You can have more rice. You will definitely be full. There is coffee at the back of the store. It is not special, but the satisfaction level is different with or without it. (April 2023)
