小学校以来の幼馴染のともに、数年ぶりに高山商店へ。
深夜まで営業しているので、仕事上がりの飲食関係者が多く集まる店という印象がありましたが、最近は閉店時間も早くなり、そのような状況でもないと聞いていました。
が、スタッフの元気よさは相変わらずで、ハイボールを片手にしつつ、串物を数本いただきました。
以前に来た時にはなかった、地元の中学校名を冠したハイボールの種類。
常盤だの、木崎だの、本太だの、浦和・北浦和界隈の中学校が多い中で、なぜか桜区の隅にある土合と田島もラインナップに加えられています。
その２校があるなら私の母校があってもいいのではないか・・・
と考えた人は私だけではないだろうな。
