ゴールデンウイーク中でしたが、友人と2人で初めてきました。店内は他に家族と女性客が数人。落ち着いた雰囲気が心地よく、美味しいコーヒーをいただきました。
ブレンドは少々酸味が強め。エクセレントは絶妙なバランスでリピートしたい。モンブランと一緒に食べる時間は至福。
店内は、古い民家をベースに喫茶店にした感じ。格子の日よけから見える沿道から射し込む光がちょうど良いです。
店主の2人は会話を交わしながらコーヒーを用意しています。リタイア後とかでしょうか。60歳は過ぎたくらいの2人がお店の雰囲気そのもの。
クラシック音楽が流れ、木を多用した空間は静かに本を読むには最適で、何度でも来ようと思いました。いつもスタバやタリーズといったシアトル系コーヒーショップで本を読んでましたが、こういったお店も良いですね。
