2023年8月のとある休日の11時過ぎに訪ねた。
浦和駅から徒歩1,2分の場所にある浦和パルコ5階の鶏の水炊き推しの居酒屋「さかえや 浦和パルコ本店」。
広い店内は3割程度客で埋まっていた。
広々としたカウンター席に1人で座り、ランチメニューから「極みの親子丼御膳」¥1,490を注文した。ドリンクが付くのでアイスコーヒーをリクエスト。
すぐにアイスコーヒーがやって来るので一口飲んで料理を待つ。
注文から10分ほど待って料理が提供される。
玉子の黄身、三つ葉が乗った親子丼に小鉢料理、漬物、味噌汁、デザートの組み合わせ。
小鉢料理はささみと小松菜を和えたもの。ご飯のおかずには良い味付けで塩気がちゃんと効いている。
黄身と白身が固まっていない仕上がりの親子丼はまろやかな味わいが楽しめる。程好いサイズでカットされた鶏肉も味わえて、ダシの旨味をほんのり感じられる。全体的には薄味の親子丼だが、三つ葉の風味が効いて爽やかな後味が楽しめる。
卓上の黒七味で親子丼に深みのある辛さと風味を加えて味わうのも良い。親子丼が若干負けている感は否めないが、リッチな味わいになる。
漬物とかじりつつ、味噌汁を飲んで親子丼を完食すると程好い満足感があった。〆に抹茶のデザートを食べてまったりしながらお茶を啜る。
広々としたスペースのカウンター席で落ち着いて食事を楽しめるのはありがたい。値段についてはそれなりにするのはやむを得ないか。ランチタイムに水炊きを食べることも出来る「さかえや」。使い勝手の良さそうな店であった。
