駅から少し歩いたところにあるインド料理店です。
カレーの種類が豊富です。
インドカレーはたいていベジタブルとマトンマサラの一番辛いものを注文しますが、今回はチキンサヒコルマがあってので、辛くせずに食べてみました。
1300円のレディースセットに＋200円でナン/ライスをチーズナンに変更し、
サラダ、マンゴーラッシー、シークカバブ、デザート、チキンサヒコルマの辛さ2(普通)とマトンマサラの辛さ5(大辛)を注文しました。
サラダのドレッシングはインド料理店でよくある赤いものですが、色は薄く、赤というよりオレンジで、味は甘めでした。他店のものより好みです。
シークカバブは柔らかく、パサパサせずしっとりとしている点は高評価ですが、スパイスが余り好みではありません。ターメリックが多い気がします。
マンゴーラッシーはヨーグルトに対しマンゴージュースの割合が高いです。スパイスは入っていません。
チキンサヒコルマはナッツとクリームがまろやかで、柔らかい鶏肉に良く合います。
マトンマサラはジューシーですが油っこすぎないマトンが美味しく、ピーマンの苦味が良いアクセントになっています。
チーズナンはふわふわタイプです。チーズ自体に甘く味付けしてからナンに挟んでいるようで、そのため冷めてきてもチーズが固まりにくいです。そのかわり伸びず、ドロッとしています。ナンだけで食べるには美味しいですが、甘すぎてカレーには合いません。
気になるほどではありませんが、ナンの切り方は雑でした。
デザートは普通のバニラアイスでした。
全体としてお肉の扱いが上手だと感じました。
