本日家内は引き続き朝から娘の引越しの手伝いに出かけた一方、12時から14時の間で自宅のウォシュレットの付け替え工事があるということで留守番の自宅待機を仰せつかった私
そうなると今日の“たべさんぽ”は無理かなぁと思いつつ、相変わらずそこで諦めたりしないのが私です
そういうことならチャチャっと歩いてテイクアウトを買っておけばいいじゃんと思いついて、午前中に向かったのは国道17号沿いにある「すき家」です
本来なら「すき家」など牛丼チェーンの不動の2軍だと侮りきっているこの私
実際、こちらの「すき家」についても、この春のStay Home期間中、何度も横目に見てスルーし続けてきましたが、ロケットニュースで目下「カレー トリプルニンニクMIX」なるご乱心系の商品を期間限定で取り扱っていると知れば、そこのところはちょっと気になっていました

無事テイクアウトで「カレー トリプルニンニクMIX(710円)」を購入して自宅に持ち帰り、工事業者の到着を気にしつついただいてみれば、ベースのカレーはまずまずの味
それではとトリプルニンニクMIXのトッピングとともにいただいてみれば、なるほどと思いつつ、笑ってしまうほどニンニクガッツリです
こちら「すき家」は、もともとメインの牛丼が力不足なうえに、商品開発能力がアホというか難があるイメージで、かつて「やきそば牛丼」なるどいひーなメニュに出会って以来、私的には長らく2軍認定しているけれど、

ちなみに、当初このシリーズにはニンニクの臭い対策用にブレスケアが付くという話だったけれど、想定以上に売れすぎているゆえブレスケアの用意がなくなったとのことで、添えられていたのはミントのガム
いくらなんでも、そこまで売れているって…本当かねぇ

It's the last Sunday of the year, but in the evening I have a stupid monthly apartment board meeting at a time like this, so I can't really relax. If this had been a ticket machine, I would probably have only bought a ticket for the "tear-off chicken curry (680 yen)", but when I was guided to the touch panel, I ended up ordering something like the "pickled vegetables set (150 yen)". I guess the touch panel can also be a good thing for the restaurant. So, after a while, the "tear-off chicken curry and pickled vegetables set" arrived. On the other hand, the topping of the tender chicken lived up to its selling point and could be easily removed from the bone with a spoon.
