I visited after 11 o'clock on a weekday in July 2023. Yakitori-ya Sumire Urawa Branch is a yakitori chain restaurant located about a 2-3 minute walk from Urawa Station. There was only one customer in the relatively large store. I sat alone at the counter and ordered the ``Ultimate Oyamadori Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) Ju'' (¥1,200). I asked for a large serving of rice for free. After waiting for about 12.3 minutes, the food is served. Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) ju consists of four pieces of yakitori grilled in sauce and served on rice sprinkled with shredded seaweed. It comes with soup, Small dish, and mentaiko. Daisendori's yakitori comes in four types: seseri, green onion, bonjiri, and meatballs. Although it was said to be Daisen chicken, I didn't find the meat to be very juicy. Yakitori, which is well-grilled and topped with sweet sauce, goes well with rice. The subtle accent of chopped seaweed is effective. The chicken stock-based soup has a good umami flavor, but the aftertaste is refreshing. Good as a soup to go with Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) ju. Enjoy Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) while nibbling namul in Small dish. Sprinkling some chili pepper on top of it will give it a bit of sweetness and make it delicious. The best part about this restaurant's lunch is that it comes with mentaiko. It's difficult to match it with the heavily seasoned Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), but it's delicious with salty rice. The green onions and meatballs on the yakitori Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) are relatively good. The fluffy meatballs are a good size and filling. Negima is an indispensable skewer for Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), with the aroma of green onions as a nice accent. It's a large serving of rice, but I don't think it's that big of a deal. To be honest, I felt that the price of 1,200 yen was a little high considering the quality of the yakitori. ``Yakitori-ya Sumire'' is a spacious restaurant where you can relax and enjoy your meal. There was a convenient restaurant there if you wanted to have a casual chicken lunch.
