最近焼肉づいている。
今までさほど食べなかったのに最近やたらと肉(ホルモン焼含む)を食べている。
そうなると肉好きのカミさんが黙っていない。
罪滅ぼしに浦和に出来た肉バルに連れて行った。
魚も美味そうなのだがせっかくの肉バルだ、肉中心に攻めてみよう。
そもそも肉目当てで訪問したのだから。
まずは生ビール590円、店長おすすめのローストビーフ990円、
すぐに出てきそうな半熟煮玉子のポテトサラダ490円を注文。
価格はすべて税別表記だ。
お通しは肉寿司。
赤身とロースの2種で塩と山葵で頂く。
なかなかうまい肉だ、これはこの後の料理も期待できる。
お通しを食べただけで赤ワインが飲みたくなる。
カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨンのボトル2,999円を注文。
ビールに比べるとワインがお得だ。
意外にもポテサラより先にローストビーフが来た。
で、これが絶品。
ほぼレアな状態で肉質は柔らか。
赤身なので適度な弾力はあるが堅さとは違うものだ。
肉自体の旨みが強く、これも塩と山葵で頂く。
グレービーソースも付いてくるが塩と山葵のほうが肉の甘みが引き立つ。
ポテサラはマヨ強めに見える。
食べてみればそんなことはなく、じゃが芋の味を活かしたものだ。
添えられたプチトマト、ブドウとの相性もいい。
煮玉子は半熟じゃなかったが。
追加は和牛のハラミ炙り焼き1,990円。
炙りなので温かいものかと思いきや常温での提供。
こちらも肉質は問題ないし、常温でも油っぽさは感じない。
常温肉料理でローストビーフと被ってしまった。
今度こそあたたかいものを期待してお次は薄焼き牛タンと南蛮味噌1,290円。
期待通り焼いた温かいものだが若干冷めている。
ローストビーフの破壊力が大きく、その後の料理がかすんでしまった。
ハラミだって美味しいものだったのに。
ローストビーフを後ろに持ってくればよかったか？
