通いなれた浦和駅からパインズホテルへ向かう道すがら、
古いマンションの一階に小さいフライヤーが置かれいていて、
興味がわいたので手に取ってみると、薬膳料理のお店がオープンしたことを告げていました。
丁度どこかでランチにしようと考えていたところだったので入ってみることにしました。
お店というより、マンションの階段を二階に上がって行って、
鉄製の扉を開けるという、まるで他所のお宅を訪問するような気持ちにさせられます。
マンション内部を改造して、お店に設えたという感じですね。
手作り感満載の空間になっていました。
スマホでググってみると浦和経済新聞の記事がヒットしました。
それによるとオーナーは浦和や恵比寿で18年以上にわたり、
コンディショニングサロンを運営するメルティサポートの代表の亀山隆子さん。
「強い体、負けないココロを作るお手伝い」をコンセプトにサロンを運営する中で、
「体の外からだけでなく、体の中からも健康をサポートしたい」と、薬膳の勉強を始めたとのこと。
通信教育や独学で勉強を続け、漢方薬膳の資格を取得し、満を持して今年7月にオープン。
メニューを見ていると、気になったのが薬膳の鳥粥。
これをお願いしようとしたら、単品だけでなく野菜サラダと前菜の3品がいただける
セットもお勧めですよ、と言われたのでそれをお願いすることにしました。
前菜はモヤシのナムル、キュウリの叩き、サツマイモ。
サラダはいろんな種類の野菜や木の実などを使っていて、いかにも身体に良さそう。
薬膳の鳥粥は広東風の中華粥に薬膳を加えたもの。
美味しさと滋養を兼ね備えたもので、食べ応えもしっかりしていて、男性でも満足できます。
デザートもついていました。白キクラゲも入った甘さ控えのもの。甘いもの苦手な小生でもいただけるほど、軽い
ものでした。
お水はガラス製のウォータ・サーバが置いてあり、そこから自由に頂くことができます。
サッパリといただけるようレモンなどが入れられていて、細やかな気配りも女性オーナーならでは。
食後は大好きなプ―アール茶が供されました。発酵熟成したお茶の深いコクに癒されます。

この日は梅雨明けの猛暑日だったので、クーラーの冷風がいきわたらず、
最近はやりの手持ち扇風機をテーブルにセットして対応してくれました。
この辺が古いマンションをリノベーションするときの難しさを感じますね。
