This is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) restaurant located about a 5-minute walk from Kawaguchi Station. There are Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), Chinese restaurants, Ramen restaurants, etc. in this area, but I don't often come to this area. I was wandering around without deciding where to go for dinner that day, and before I knew it, I had walked to this area, so I decided to visit this restaurant, which I had never been to before. The restaurant is on the first floor of a high-rise building facing Honmachi Boulevard, but it is a little difficult to find as it is behind the apartment building. When I visited without a reservation after 7pm on a holiday, I was told that there was a seat available, so I was guided to a table in the back. The restaurant has counter seats, table seats, and raised table seats, and although it is not a completely private room, there is a room with a partition that can seat about 6-8 people. First, we toasted with beer and ordered the following dishes. - Tuna and avocado tartare Tuna and avocado made into a tartare sauce is served with a thin baguette. It tastes more like tuna than tuna, and goes well with wine.・Spinach Gratin with Shelled Oysters Shelled oysters in a gratin style. The crunchy spinach adds a nice accent. ・Seasonal Grilled Fish Today's dish was salmon saikyo-yaki. It was so flavorful that it made me want to have rice with it. ・ Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers)- Matsugoro Style - Although it's called Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), Matsugoro Style is not skewered, but grilled with zucchini, young corn, paprika, etc. You can choose between salt and sauce, and I went with the salt this time, but it was quite delicious with wasabi. We were also given wine and sake, and I was feeling quite drunk when I said thank you for the meal. The staff were very kind and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, so it's a restaurant I'd like to visit again.
